Introducing the Huthwaite Sales Toolbox

A central part of the Huthwaite Sales System, the Sales Toolbox gives your sellers the resources to drive more effective sales behaviours, and encourages use of Huthwaite’s proven methodologies.


It currently contains two toolsets that cover Huthwaite’s key methodologies of SPIN® Selling Skills and Account Strategy.


Each toolset includes a range of applications that increase effectiveness and efficiency, providing a platform for:

  • Devising the appropriate strategies for selling into every major account
  • Planning and executing those strategies when face-to-face with customers
  • Capturing and reporting outcomes and subsequent actions.

This helps your team avoid potential traps during the sale and ultimately, sell more.

SPIN® Selling Tools are now available to delegates on face-to-face or virtual SPIN® Selling Skills training programmes. The tools will be introduced during the programme and the electronic tools, plus e-learning covering the use of the SPIN® Selling Tools and the key SPIN® concepts and terms, will be available for download at the end of the programme. Devise strategies based on real information

The Sales Toolbox enables sellers to identify and influence multiple key decision makers within the sales process. Its competitive analysis capability helps them uncover the criteria by which the customer will judge them and their key competitors. The Call Planners and Key Player maps provide powerful visual aids summarising the role each player has within the decision process, not just their job title. This informs strategies for reaching them and influencing them in sales conversations or remotely.


The Call Reports and Key Player maps capture and summarise meaningful information on what was said, highlighting inconsistencies and contradictions, to speed up the sales cycle.
